A Diving Lesson ………..

I could be writing here about our entire morning spent rearranging all our spare stuff that was left hanging around in the spare cabin. Sails, tools, more tools, even more tools, spares, spares for spares, ropes, winter clothes, sleeping bags, duvets and winter blankets; you name it, it was here – taking up the whole cabin area.

Our Lady of the Navigators and a Party.

Every summer Culatra, alongside the town of Olhão, celebrates in a religious festival and a festival of the sea that culminates in a procession of boats carrying, for one, the seafarers protector – A Senhora dos Navegantes ( Our Lady of the Navigators). Continue reading
